Our family has a German wirehair pointer that can hunt like no other. He is especially good at hunting and pointing pheasants, quail, chucker, rabbits, deer, wild boar, elephants, and snipe. <–haha, snipe. (This joke reminds me of a Chuck Norris episode of Walker Texas Ranger!) Well, I have personally hunted with this dog and his 2 predecessors and found the german wirehair to be quite superior in hunting abilities and overall temperament.
